Join us to celebrate 30 years of Also-Known-As, Inc. - three decades of building community, amplifying adoptee voices, and creating spaces where internationally and transracially adopted people can feel truly seen, heard, and valued.
Since 1996, Also-Known-As has been more than just an organization — it's been a home, a lifeline, and a space where internationally and transracially adopted people can feel truly seen, heard, and valued. What began as a small group of adoptees searching for connection has grown into a powerful network that spans generations and continents. Through mentorship, education, advocacy, and storytelling, we've honored the complexity of adoption and the richness of our diverse identities.
With over 200 paying members representing 23 countries, Also-Known-As is stronger than ever. As we reflect on our journey, we are excited to celebrate the courage of every adoptee who has shared their truth, the dedication of our community leaders and volunteers, and the unwavering belief that our stories matter.
This milestone isn’t just a celebration of the past; it’s a call to the future. We remain committed to fostering belonging, challenging systems, and lifting up the voices that have too often been silenced.
