Getting to New York City

Airports:

• LaGuardia Airport (LGA):  ~30 mins by car/taxi to Midtown, Manhattan
• John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK):  ~45–60 mins by taxi/car to Midtown, Manhattan
• Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR): ~40–60 mins by NJ Transit or car to Midtown, Manhattan

Train & Bus Options:

• Amtrak, New Jersey Transit, Long Island Rail Road, Metro North – Arrive at Penn Station (34th St) or Grand Central (42nd St)
• Greyhound and Megabus – Serve Port Authority station or curbside pickups

Rate: Deluxe Queen - $239 ($267.69 including fees) per night, Empire Twin - $249 ($277.69 including fees) per night
Reservation Deadline: Please book your room by March 17, 2026.

Getting Around Town

• We recommend downloading a subway map app. 
  
  • Subway Lines You’ll Use Most: 6, N, R, Q, B, D, F, M, L (for traveling between Chinatown, Midtown, and Central Park)
  • OMNY, or use tap-to-pay for $2.90 per ride
• Taxis and rideshares apps (Uber or Lyft) are widely available. We strongly recommend using only: licensed yellow cabs or rides booked through official apps (Uber and Lyft)
• CitiBike: NYC’s bike-share system – great for short rides in fair weather (book through Lyft app)
• Parking: Limited street parking; use garages.
• Many neighborhoods are very walkable. It’s a great way to explore and soak up the city.
