We have an amazing lineup for our all-day Film-a-Thon!

Join us to see 2 excellent movies that should be viewed on a big screen, a selection of short films and roundtable discussion with their creators, and a reception sponsored by Hwayo Soju!  See full schedule below.

WHEN: Saturday, May 12, starting at noon
WHERE: MFA Social Documentary Film screening room of the School of Visual Arts: 136 West 21st Street, 1st Floor
COST:
  * $9 per film or $20 for an all-day ticket
  * Ticket to any film comes with free entry to evening reception
  * Reception alone: $9.00 (includes food and beverages, sponsored by Hwayo Soju)
  * Buy or extend your annual membership for $35 and the whole day is free!

SCHEDULE:

12 noon: "Seoul Searching" - a hilarious and emotional film starring Justin Chon about a group of Korean teenagers sent from all over the world to participate in a government-sponsored program to connect with their heritage, including an adoptee's search for her birth mother.

2:30 pm: Short films and roundtable - A selection of short, personal films, followed by a director's roundtable with local filmmakers including Alex Myung, Jen Kim, Nick Capezzerra, and others.

5:00 pm: "Lady Vengeance" - an action thriller by the famous director Park Chan-wook ("Old Boy", "The Handmaiden") about a woman imprisoned for a murder she didn't commit.  Upon release, she seeks revenge on those who wronged her and looks for the daughter she was forced to give up.

7:30 pm: Reception - free with any ticket (or $9 by itself) includes food and drinks, sponsored by Hwayo Soju.

9:00 pm: After party - location TBA.
