Come join Also-Known-As and march in the 36th Annual Korean Day Parade! Then join us at the Korean Festival and enjoy the street food and performances!
When: Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:15am (parade begins at 12 noon)
Where: Meet southeast corner of 39th Street and Broadway in Pret a Manger (1410 Broadway)
The parade will begin at 38th street and 6th Avenue, heading down 6th to 27th Street. The total time for the parade is approx. 2 hours.
We hope you will join us for this family-friendly event! If you cannot walk with us, come cheer us on or meet us at the festival on 32nd Street (between Fifth and Broadway). The festival will run from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Organized by the Korea Times New York, the Korean Parade and Festival is one of the largest ethnic events in Manhattan. The parade will have floats, marching bands, Korean traditional dances and Tae Kwon Do exhibitions, and the Korean Traditional Royal Marching Parade. At the Festival, enjoy hot spicy Korean food, watch cultural performing arts, and meet famous Korean TV stars and musicians.
